Qualifications and Experience:

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational physical therapy preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students, teachers, and families Comfortable managing a caseload across multiple locations An innovative, adaptive approach that supports individualized education plans (IEPs) Willingness to commit to a full school year (contract basis)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and collaborative team recommendations Conduct assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress Provide consultation to educators and families on integrating therapy strategies into daily routines Maintain clear documentation and progress notes consistent with school and regulatory standards Share professional expertise by participating in eligibility and IEP meetings Engage with staff and caregivers, supporting students' physical development and accessibility
