Key Qualifications & Experience:
Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state Previous experience providing PT services in educational or pediatric environments highly regarded Ability to assess, plan, and deliver individualized therapy interventions for diverse student populations Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Strong organizational capabilities to manage documentation and scheduling efficiently Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students as part of an educational team Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address each student's needs Recommend adaptive equipment, accommodations, and modifications to support access and participation in educational activities Consult with educators and family members to extend therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to maximize outcomes Maintain clear and timely records in compliance with school and regulatory standards This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to advance your skills while supporting student growth and wellness in a collaborative school setting.
