Responsibilities Identify and address patients' goals and needs through personalized care Provide evidence-based treatments that help improve patients' motion, mobility and overall wellness Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery Develop and implement fitness programs tailored to community needs Motivate patients to optimize outcomes Promote healthy lifestyles through educational seminars Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive care Monitor and document progress, while effectively communicating outcomes with patients, families and other healthcare professionals Skills Current knowledge of treatment practices Drive to continually learn and grow Professional behavior Ability to manage patients with different temperaments Excellent interpersonal communication skills Valid license to practice physical therapy
