Take your expertise as a Physical Therapist into an engaging school setting, supporting students' mobility, independence, and academic participation. This contract role is based near Wilmington, DE, and runs from August 2026 through early June 2027. The opportunity offers a Monday-Friday schedule at 37.5 hours per week, with both full-time and part-time options to accommodate your preferences. You'll work within a school environment as well as provide essential services to students who are medically homebound. What you'll bring: Active Delaware Physical Therapist license (required before interview) Experience or strong interest in school-based practice and pediatric care Compassion and flexibility to support a diverse student population Ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff Strong organizational skills to adapt to a fluctuating caseload Comfortable traveling between school sites and homes as needed In this position, you'll: Deliver physical therapy services to students within a school setting and in-home for those medically homebound Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement IEP goals Assess, document, and monitor student progress Educate students, caregivers, and school staff on mobility and adaptive equipment Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and participate in meetings and trainings as required Travel locally to serve students at their designated locations You'll join a welcoming educational community where your skills truly impact students' day-to-day experiences and academic journeys.
