Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a purposeful contract opportunity supporting students in a vibrant school setting near Wilmington, DE! This flexible role welcomes physical therapists ready to empower learners both onsite and in homebound environments for the 2026-2027 school year. By delivering impactful care, you'll help students achieve their highest potential within the district and at home.

End Date:
June 8, 2027
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week (options for part-time or full-time) Key qualifications: Valid Delaware Physical Therapist license required Experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy Comfort with both school-based and home visits to serve medically homebound students Strong organizational skills and adaptability as caseloads evolve Dedication to collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team What you'll do: Provide direct physical therapy to students in the school building and, as needed, to homebound students Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student needs Document services and progress for each student Adjust interventions based on each learner's changing goals and abilities Use flexibility and creative problem-solving to ensure seamless continuity of care In this role, you'll find tremendous variety and the chance to make a genuine difference, whether helping a child participate fully in a classroom or providing vital support in a home environment.
