Key Responsibilities As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Opti Flex Therapeutics, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations related to orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that utilize a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and modalities to promote healing and recovery. Monitoring and documenting patient progress meticulously to ensure clear communication within the healthcare team and with patients and their families. Adapting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, patient feedback, and the latest clinical guidelines. Providing education to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to rehabilitation protocols. Equipping patients with assistive devices and training them on their usage to facilitate mobility and enhance independence in daily activities. Engaging in continuous professional development through attending workshops, conferences, and collaborating in peer discussions to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements or repair procedures, and those with chronic pain, sports injuries, or post-traumatic rehabilitation needs. You will play a crucial role in monitoring rehabilitation progress and adjusting therapeutic strategies to optimize patient recovery times and outcomes. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required. You must possess a current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
