Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) Full-Time Pensacola, FL Great Strides Rehabilitation, an H2 Health company, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of medically complex and medically fragile children while working alongside an experienced interdisciplinary team. At our Pediatric Prescribed Extended Care Center (PPEC), clinicians provide specialized therapy services to children with complex medical diagnoses, including neurological impairments, genetic disorders, respiratory conditions, developmental delays, and mobility limitations. This collaborative setting allows therapists to focus on helping children improve functional mobility, strength, positioning, developmental progression, and participation in daily activities within a medically supportive environment. Your Role Deliver individualized, evidence-based pediatric physical therapy services to medically complex and medically fragile children. Perform evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans designed to improve functional mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and developmental skills. Support positioning, transfers, mobility training, gait training, and adaptive equipment recommendations. Collaborate closely with nursing staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Educate and support families and caregivers in promoting long-term developmental progress and functional outcomes. Utilize the Raintree EMR platform for documentation, scheduling, and patient management. Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and efficiently. Contribute to a positive clinical environment focused on learning, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Requirements Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program. Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure. CPR certification or willingness to obtain as required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills. Passion for working with children and delivering family-centered care.
