Job Description

This contract opportunity, based near Bonita Springs, FL, calls for an experienced Physical Therapist eager to support Pre K-12 students across multiple campuses in a dynamic, itinerant capacity. Enjoy a structured Monday through Friday schedule (up to 37.5 hours per week), working on-site with a variety of age groups and caseloads.
Key Qualifications:
Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Current Florida Department of Health Physical Therapist license Experience in school-based or pediatric therapy preferred Flexibility to work itinerantly across various district school sites Ability to manage diverse caseloads, ages Pre K-12 Up-to-date or transferable background clearance (fingerprinting) in the AHCA Clearinghouse preferred
Principal Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students with a wide range of abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans in collaboration with educators, families, and related service teams Travel between multiple schools within the district as assigned, managing caseloads and adapting to varying school cultures Maintain thorough documentation, ensuring compliance with all state and federal educational guidelines Actively participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and professional development
