Role:
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical function and mobility. Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program. Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the United States. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including those with sports injuries and geriatric rehabilitation needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Sports Physical Therapy (SCS). Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting or outpatient rehabilitation clinic. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation best practices. Additional training or certification in geriatric rehabilitation or neurological physical therapy. Demonstrated ability to lead patient education sessions and wellness programs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions, limitations, and rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, and sports injury recovery. Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic treatment. Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and strategies for maintaining physical health. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
