Opens a new window. tags.new Physical Therapist (On-Call/Call Back) Eglin AFB, Florida, United States Coho Integrated Solutions are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive physical therapy services supporting the 96th Medical Group at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment programs, provide therapeutic interventions, document patient progress, coordinate care with physicians and healthcare personnel, and support patient rehabilitation and wellness. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Perform a full range of physical therapy services within the scope of clinical privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized written treatment programs.
• Provide physical therapy services with inpatient care as the primary responsibility.
• Administer therapeutic and manual exercises to improve and maintain patient function.
• Provide manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization techniques.
• Administer traction when clinically appropriate.
• Instruct, motivate, and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Train patients in the appropriate use of assistive and supportive devices, including crutches, canes, and prostheses.
• Support activities of daily living and functional mobility training.
• Document treatments, patient responses, and progress in patient records and approved electronic systems.
• Coordinate treatment and discharge recommendations with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in prevention, wellness, education, screening, and positive health behavior activities.
• Provide supervision to Physical Medicine Technicians and participate in peer-review activities.
• Maintain documentation, coding, and patient records in accordance with established MTF standards.
