Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy Active Florida Physical Therapist license issued by the Department of Health Previous experience within schools or pediatric populations is highly valued Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs and age ranges Willingness to travel between various school sites (itinerant position) Successful completion of required fingerprint clearance and JLA badge process per Florida school district regulations

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized physical therapy programs for students across all grade levels (PreK-12) Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student mobility, participation, and access Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Contribute to IEP meetings and foster positive partnerships with school staff Provide therapy only in-person (no virtual services) By joining this dynamic district, youll have the privilege of helping students build their physical confidence and succeed in the classroom and beyond.
