Position Overview Flexi Flow Rehab is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Hialeah, Florida. This full-time position invites you to play a pivotal role in guiding our patients through their recovery journeys, helping them regain mobility and enhance their quality of life. With a spacious 5,000 square foot medical center, we specialize in serving athletes and individuals seeking recovery from injuries. Our facility is equipped with the latest equipment and therapeutic technologies to ensure optimum rehabilitation outcomes. We collaborate closely with private health insurance providers to offer affordable therapeutic options, emphasizing personalized patient care and recovery. Work Environment Your work setting will be onsite at our Hialeah facility, where you will be part of a dynamic team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility fosters a collaborative atmosphere that encourages knowledge sharing and teamwork, ensuring high-quality patient care at every step. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish personalized treatment goals. Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, delivering tailored therapies that improve their range of motion and mobility. Design and implement individualized care plans using various therapeutic modalities, ensuring evidence-based practices are followed. Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and enhance recovery timelines. Monitor patient progress closely, adapting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving health goals. Inform and guide patients towards non-surgical options, reducing reliance on prescription pain medications whenever feasible. Encourage overall wellness through designing customized fitness and rehabilitation programs that promote strength, flexibility, and coordination. Engage with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated treatments for optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions meticulously within our EMR system, ensuring compliance and accuracy in patient care records. Provide mentorship to new staff and contribute to team development through ongoing training and skill enhancement. Patient Population / Client Focus Our primary focus is on providing exceptional care to athletes and active individuals recovering from injuries. You will directly impact their lives by enabling them to return to their daily activities and sports with increased functional capacity. The ideal candidate will empathize with patients and inspire them to engage proactively in their rehabilitation. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). A valid state Physical Therapist License in Florida, free from any board action or disciplinary history. Strong manual therapy skills and a firm understanding of therapeutic modalities. Proficiency in EMR software such as WebPT or equivalent systems. Preferred Experience Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred, providing direct experience that will be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with sports rehabilitation techniques and an understanding of the needs specific to athletes and active lifestyles.
