Position Overview Insightful Motion Therapy is actively searching for a dedicated and skilled Full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our committed team in Mc David, Florida. In this vital role, you will work directly with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life through comprehensive therapies, personalized treatment plans, and proactive rehabilitation strategies. Work Environment Our clinic offers an onsite, full-time work setting where collaboration and teamwork are at the forefront of our practice. The position requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring work-life balance while enabling you to focus on patient care. You will join a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the highest level of service in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Key Responsibilities Identify and understand each patient's unique objectives, delivering tailored rehabilitation strategies. Manage an individual patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and high-quality care. Utilize your expertise in orthopedic and outpatient physical therapy to effectively address varying patient needs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques designed to enhance the range of motion and mobility. Advocate for non-surgical treatment alternatives, minimizing reliance on medication. Collaborate with patients to develop comprehensive, customized treatment and fitness plans. Motivate and support patients through their therapeutic journey to optimize functional outcomes. Conduct evaluations, monitor patient progress, and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with best practices. Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, consulting with healthcare providers and stakeholders as needed. Encourage a lifestyle that incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination exercises. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient population primarily consists of individuals seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain conditions. You'll work with clients ranging from active athletes to seniors seeking improved mobility, providing a rewarding opportunity to impact diverse lives positively. Your empathetic approach will play a key role in nurturing their recovery journey. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Master's or Doctorate preferred). Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida. No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license. Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy and exercise program design. Experience with electronic medical record software, such as WebPT, is highly favorable. Preferred Experience Experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred. Ability to develop and implement effective treatment methodologies and patient care models.
