Job Description
The Judge Group is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a respected healthcare organization in Ocala, Florida . This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative outpatient rehabilitation team dedicated to helping patients restore function, improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of independence. Compensation & Benefits $48.00-$53.00/hour Full-time, permanent position Sign-on bonus: $2,000-$10,000 Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Student loan repayment and educational reimbursement programs (eligibility applies) Continuing education support Professional development and career growth opportunities Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including assessments of strength, mobility, balance, coordination, posture, and functional abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals, clinical findings, and patient goals. Provide evidence-based therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety strategies, injury prevention, and adaptive equipment use. Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements. Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, support staff, and students as appropriate. Ensure compliance with clinical, ethical, and organizational standards. Qualifications Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Florida Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Florida licensure. Current BLS/CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred . Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Productivity Expectations Average of 1.5 patients per hour Approximately 12 patient visits per 8-hour shift Ability to balance patient care, documentation, and quality outcomes while meeting productivity standards Work Environment This position is based in an outpatient clinical setting and involves hands-on patient care. Candidates must be comfortable with standing, walking, assisting with patient mobility and transfers, and performing the physical demands associated with rehabilitation services.
