Qualifications and Experience:

Current and valid Physical Therapist license in Florida Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred Ability to work independently, as there is no PTA supervision available Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educational staff Commitment to supporting students physical access and participation in their educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-based physical therapy to students, ages and needs varying Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each student's IEP goals Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote optimal student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district requirements and compliance standards Travel to assigned school sites within the designated area This assignment runs from ASAP through December 18, 2026, offering a consistent, long-term placement to build meaningful rapport with your students and colleagues alike.
