Work Environment Our rehabilitation facility operates on-site and is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to support our therapists in providing optimal care. You will have access to cutting-edge technology and treatments, with an emphasis on manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and developing personalized treatment plans based on findings. Communicate evaluation results and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, ensuring that they understand and are involved in setting treatment goals. Implement and adapt treatment protocols based on continuous assessment of patient progress while meeting established productivity expectations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to address any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to treatment plans or additional consultations. Document patient care accurately and promptly, including initial assessments, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations to comply with healthcare regulations. Manage your schedule effectively to maintain productivity while participating in community outreach and marketing efforts. Engage in professional development and continuing education, contributing to the growth of the clinical team and serving as a mentor for students. Promote a positive patient experience by being adaptable, responsive, and dedicated to quality care. Patient Population / Client Focus The majority of our patients are individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. We emphasize a personalized approach to treatment that respects the unique circumstances of each patient, fostering collaborative relationships that empower them in the recovery process. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. A valid Florida state license as a Physical Therapist. Proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions by the licensing board. Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in creating and implementing tailored exercise protocols for diverse patient needs. Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software for efficient patient documentation and management. Preferred Experience Prior experience working in orthopedic rehabilitation settings is highly preferred. Experience utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and training in specialized rehabilitation programs. Previous involvement in mentorship or clinical instruction roles is beneficial for fostering a learning culture within the team. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
