Job Description

Overview The Physical Therapist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Physical Therapist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.
Qualifications Age of Patients Served:
All Age Groups.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree.
Specific course work:
Physical Therapy preferred
Necessary Skills:
1. Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices and equipment. 2. Good communication skills. Proactive, positive approach to problem solving. 3. Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of patients. 4. Ability to assess and implement a treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses. 5. Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.
Required Licensure/Certifications:
Current Florida Physical Therapy license. BLS from the
American Heart Association Preferred Experience:
Experience in hospital-based rehabilitation services.
Preferred Education:
Master's or Doctorate degree in
Physical Therapy Required Experience:
Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. Acute, outpatient, etc.)
