Job Description

Lake Centre for Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic health to join our patient-centered team in Florida. In this role, you will evaluate and treat adults with pelvic floor dysfunction, pain, incontinence, and related conditions, designing individualized treatment plans that restore function and improve quality of life. You will use evidence-based interventions, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise while educating patients on long-term self-management. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic health conditions using evidence-based physical therapy interventions Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional goals and pain reduction Educate patients on pelvic floor exercises, posture, body mechanics, and self-management strategies Collaborate with physicians, rehab team members, and support staff to coordinate care Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs and ongoing care Participate in quality improvement, case reviews, and continuing education activities Maintain a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care environment Utilize therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques as appropriate Contribute to mentoring and support of team members and therapy students as needed Required Skills Pelvic health physical therapy Orthopedic assessment and treatment Manual therapy techniques Therapeutic exercise prescription Patient assessment and care planning Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Patient and family education Pain management strategies Interdisciplinary collaboration Infection control and safety compliance
