Job Description
Perform and document an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit. Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient careAssure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentationProvide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionalsPromote agency philosophy and administrative policiesMaintain and complete all documentation within company stated guidelines. RequirementsSuccessful completion of accredited physical therapy program and state licensure exam.
