9603025-34787 Job Description Bring your expertise as a Physical Therapist to a dynamic and supportive school environment! This on-site, contract assignment is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of students in grades K-12, including some Pre-K, throughout the school year. The district is seeking either one full-time professional or two to three part-time therapists to cover full-time hours, so there is flexibility based on your availability. The position begins October 2026 and continues through November 31, 2027, with interviews actively taking place as of 9/16.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a current professional Florida Physical Therapy license Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred, though not required Comfortable working as part of a collaborative team with a mix of direct and indirect services Capable of traveling between multiple school locations within the district (itinerant model) Adept at serving a diverse caseload spanning Pre-K through high school Willing to complete onboarding and credentialing requirements promptly

Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy assessments and treatments for a varied student caseload, in coordination with another PT and a PTA Typically provide services at 2 or 3 schools per day, rotating across a total of 35 district schools as needed Develop individualized therapy plans and monitor student progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all services rendered Collaborate with educators, administrative staff, and families to ensure student needs are met
