Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Winter Garden, FL. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students, including some Pre-K, across a network of schools. As part of an itinerant team, you'll collaborate with another Physical Therapist and a PTA, typically providing services at two or three schools daily. This engaging position balances both direct and indirect services to a diverse caseload, offering a chance to sharpen your skills in a supportive school community.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Florida Physical Therapy License required Experience providing PT services in school settings is highly preferred, though not mandatory Confident working with K-12 students (including some Pre-K) Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites within the district Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to a varied caseload, supporting student mobility and participation in educational activities Collaborate with educational staff, families, and fellow therapists to implement individualized therapy plans Complete required documentation, data forms, and procedural agreements as outlined by district protocols Attend and participate in team meetings as necessary for student progress and planning (OTs/COTAs have separate responsibilities) Meet all credentialing and onboarding requirements, including a two-part district process to ensure smooth placement
