Role:

Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Implement treatment activities, educate patients and families, and provide discharge instructions and follow-up care. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational efforts in accordance with departmental protocols. Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication with team members. Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment, fostering trust and respect among colleagues and patients. Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation to ensure compliance and licensure maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program (Masters or Doctoral). Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Georgia. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
