Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist license for the state Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations is preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs Comfort collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-12 students, in alignment with IEP goals Assess, plan, and deliver interventions tailored for individual student needs to enhance mobility, access, and participation in the school environment Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment strategies as needed Contribute to IEP meetings and serve as an essential resource for teachers and families regarding student mobility and physical development Participate actively in case conferences, screenings, and team meetings Maintain all required records and reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards This contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), with a commitment of 40 hours each week.
