Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials recognized by the state Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population Comfortable adapting therapy sessions for various age groups and needs

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings Assess students' motor skills and functional mobility; create and execute individualized plans to address their objectives Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy into students' daily routines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute documentation and recommendations for student goals Track progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust therapeutic interventions as students' needs evolve Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to facilitate students' physical development throughout the school day This role is a full-time assignment for the entire school year, giving you a chance to see and support each student's growth from start to finish.
