Wellstar Health System is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our patient-centered Healthcare & Medical Services team in Georgia. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and quality of life for diverse patient populations. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, educate patients and families, and document care in the EMR. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members on care plans Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and recovery expectations Accurately document assessments, treatments, and progress in the EMR system Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives Supervise and guide physical therapist assistants and support staff as appropriate Maintain compliance with state practice regulations and Wellstar policies Required Skills Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning Orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation Manual therapy techniques Therapeutic exercise prescription Gait training and balance rehabilitation Pain management modalities (e-stim, ultrasound, etc.) Post-surgical rehabilitation protocols Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Patient and family education Interdisciplinary care coordination
