HI -

Physical Therapist ASAP Waimea, HI OPEN Job Description Job Description:

Primary duties are PT evaluations and treatments. Inpatient (25%) acute, ICU, SNF, and outpatient (75%) settings._ PT in rural Kauai requires independence and thorough care approaches for all outpatient diagnoses, and acute to SNF inpatient mobility progression with knowledge of discharge planning.



PT is required to work in ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), occasionally in OB, and extensively in our hospital based Outpatient PT Clinic.



A full PT schedule is a mix of in and outpatients every 30-45 minutes (one hour new eval's), which could be between 5 and 15 patients per day.\_\___

AGENCIES MUST USE THE HHSC TIMECARDS LOCATED IN THE FACILITY PROFILE AS THIS HOSPITAL GOES BY AN 80 HR IN A 2 WEEK PERIOD TO DETERMINE ACTUAL HOURS/OT ETC.

•The orientation days. The first day of training would consist of HR orientation, (fingerprinting, reviewing policies and procedures, ID badge, etc.), safety orientation, risk & quality management orientation, in-services/education (Code of conducts, etc.), and I.T. orientation. The second day will be focused on electronic medical record (EMR) training. The training on day one begins at 10 am with HR (or designee) then safety orientation follows so on and so forth.
