Part-Time Physical Therapist Qualifications:
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited College or University. IA License and current registration as a Therapist (Should be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.) One year of clinical experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
Physical Therapist Job Summary:
Perform evaluations, design treatment plans and administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by a physician. Supervise professional and non-professional physical therapy staff. Assign case load and other related tasks to physical therapy staff. Coordinate physical therapy program with other services for assigned residents. Complete required documentation for residents' medical records. Record daily attendance for statistical record keeping. Schedule daily treatments. Participate in In-Service Education program.
