Duties Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises using proper manual handling techniques Support physical therapists during patient assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation activities Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions and communicate observations to the healthcare team Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, progress notes, and treatment logs Ensure patient confidentiality is upheld in compliance with healthcare privacy regulations Help manage intake procedures by gathering patient information and updating medical records as needed Requirements Prior experience practicing in a physical therapy or rehabilitation support role preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during patient transfers and equipment setup Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and healthcare professionals Familiarity with hospital or outpatient clinic environments, including inpatient and post-acute care settings CPR certification and knowledge of acute care protocols required or willing to obtain upon hire Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or patients in sub-acute care settings is a plus Join our team to contribute to compassionate patient care while developing your skills in a vibrant healthcare environment.
