Qualifications:
Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in schools Strong communication and organizational skills Flexible and adaptable working style suitable for a dynamic school setting
Core Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students' physical therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans Deliver evidence-based interventions focused on improving motor skills, strength, mobility, and overall function within the learning environment Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and educational teams to support each students educational goals Document evaluations, progress notes, and services in compliance with school district policies and state regulations Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and other staff as needed Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on physical therapys role in student success
