Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time opportunity is now available for a passionate Physical Therapist interested in supporting elementary students in a school setting. This contract position is designed for those who want to make a real impact in children's lives while maintaining a flexible work schedule. Working two days each week, you'll collaborate with school teams to help students thrive academically and physically.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Current Physical Therapist license (Illinois) Experience or strong interest in school-based pediatric therapy Familiarity with IEPs and documentation processes Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists Comfort working with elementary-aged students
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students and develop individualized physical therapy plans Implement therapy sessions focusing on improving students' motor skills and physical function Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and updates on student progress Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Support students' participation in educational programs and activities
