Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students as a PT or PTA in a dynamic school-based setting near Dekalb, IL. This onsite, full-time opportunity runs from now through May 20, 2027, offering the chance to provide impactful physical therapy services across various grade levels with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. Desired qualifications and experience:
Licensed PT or PTA (active state licensure required) Previous experience in school-based settings or working with children preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational and time management skills Passion for advocating for students' physical and academic success
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services onsite for K-12 students, tailoring care to individual educational needs Evaluate, document, and report on students' progress Participate in IEP meetings and team consultations Engage in monthly colleague meetings, roundtable discussions, and performance reviews Contribute to process improvement initiatives for efficient, high-quality services Access ongoing professional development and knowledge-sharing through an interactive intranet platform Look forward to ongoing collaboration and leadership support through regular 1:1s and team meetings, while engaging in meaningful professional development.
