Qualifications & Preferred Background:

Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in Illinois Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload of middle and high school students Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents Excellent organizational skills to track student progress and manage documentation efficiently Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy sessions to address students motor and mobility needs Collaborate with classroom teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into the educational setting Monitor and document progress, adjusting plans as students needs evolve Educate staff and families on best practices to support students physical development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
