Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract role providing physical therapy services within a vibrant, supportive school setting near Harvey, IL. This onsite position offers the opportunity to impact students across all age groups and support a diverse range of abilities and needs. As a valued partner in the school community, you'll help students achieve greater independence, mobility, and participation in the classroom. What You'll Need:
Active Illinois Physical Therapy License (IL PT) School-based experience is highly valued Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families Flexibility and resourcefulness in supporting students with a wide range of disabilities Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation preferredKey Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy interventions to a caseload of 10-20 students with diverse needs Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment goals Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain compliance with all district and state requirements Assess students' needs using a variety of evaluation tools, and adapt strategies as needed to support academic and functional success Deliver compassionate, student-centered care while promoting a positive and inclusive school environmentWhat's Offered:
