Work with a focused caseload of 15-20 students, helping to achieve their individual mobility and physical development goals during the academic year. Key Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with a background in school-based or healthcare settings Experience working with high school students or adolescents preferred Knowledge of current best practices for therapeutic interventions in educational contexts Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students physical abilities and needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Deliver direct physical therapy sessions and oversee student progress Consult with school staff and families to support student participation in academic and extracurricular activities Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student on your caseload Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to student support teams
