We are a rapidly growing, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice providing speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, feeding therapy, social groups, and mental health services in a neuroaffirming, child-centered environment. Our DIRFloortime® accredited clinic is dedicated to helping children build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections through play-based, evidence-based therapy. We are seeking a passionate Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) or PTA to join our collaborative team in Palatine, Illinois . Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths, goals, and interests. Provide engaging, play-based physical therapy services. Collaborate closely with families and caregivers to support carryover of skills at home. Work alongside speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and mental health providers to provide comprehensive care. Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and documentation in a timely manner. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture. Areas of Treatment May Include Developmental delays Gross motor delays Torticollis and plagiocephaly Toe walking Balance and coordination difficulties Low muscle tone (hypotonia) Strength and endurance deficits Gait abnormalities Sports injuries and rehabilitation Post-surgical rehabilitation Neurological and genetic conditions
Qualifications Preferred:
Current Illinois Physical Therapy license At least 1 year of pediatric experience in Physical Therapy Strong communication and collaboration skills Passion for working with children and families Experience with early intervention services Knowledge of DIRFloortime®, sensory-motor development, torticollis treatment, reflex integration, or neurodevelopmental treatment About Express Yourself Therapy Express Yourself Pediatric Therapy provides speech, occupational, physical therapy, feeding, and mental health services to children and families in a warm, nurturing, and creative environment.
