This contract opportunity offers the flexibility to choose full-time or part-time hours, with an immediate start available. Enjoy working alongside a supportive educational team helping students from elementary through transition programs to develop greater physical independence and fully participate at school. Youll travel between multiple campuses, delivering both direct and consultative PT services to a diverse caseload in self-contained and general education programs.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) Current Illinois Physical Therapy License Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred Comfortable managing a caseload of 3545 students across multiple schools Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Skilled in evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation Knowledge of positioning and mobility equipment use and staff training

Key Responsibilities:

Provide physical therapy services for students, traveling between multiple school sites Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions Document daily notes, progress reports, and goal updates in a timely manner Train staff and students on the use of positioning and mobility equipment Collaborate closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and school nurses Ensure services support students in reaching their greatest level of independence and participation This assignment runs through the end of the school year (6/7/2027), with varying MondayFriday schedules dependent on individual school times (start between 7:30 and 8:30am).
