Position Details Position:
Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) -
Itinerant Grade Levels:
K-12th
Grade Schedule:
Monday-Friday, approximately 8:30 AM-3:40
PM Weekly Hours:
35 hours per week
Setting:
Onsite School Year:
August 2026 - May 28, 2027
Daily Schedule:
May vary based on student availability and service needs Caseload & Responsibilities Manage an anticipated caseload of approximately 45 students Provide physical therapy services across multiple school campuses Support students with a range of physical, motor, mobility, and functional needs Provide services in both general education and special education settings Support students receiving supported education as well as students with more significant support needs Provide direct physical therapy services to improve access, mobility, and participation in educational activities Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and school staff to support students' functional mobility throughout the school day Provide consultation and classroom-based support as appropriate Develop strategies, accommodations, and environmental modifications that promote student independence and access Participate in IEP meetings and contribute PT recommendations and documentation Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs Qualifications Active Illinois IDFPR Physical Therapy license required Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively across multiple school campuses Passion for helping students develop greater independence and access to their educational environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $60,000+ depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package available including free health insurance, 401k with matching, free CEUs Full-time, 35-hour work week Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment Ongoing clinical support and professional development through AnthroMed Education Why Join AnthroMed?
