Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Springfield. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic and sports injuries, geriatric rehabilitation, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Your primary goal will be to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence through the use of manual therapy, exercise, and other therapeutic techniques. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. We offer 45 minute appointments to our Patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Experience working with patients in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialization in sports medicine or geriatric rehabilitation Experience working with athletes or sports teams Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient evaluations to assess their physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans Provide hands-on manual therapy and other therapeutic techniques to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for each patient Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports
Skills:
As a Physical Therapist, you will use your expertise in physical therapy, rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy, orthopedics, sports injuries, sports medicine, and geriatric rehabilitation to help patients regain their strength, mobility, and independence. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in educating patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies. Additionally, your experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems will help you maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress reports.
