Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference for students by supporting their physical growth and development in a dynamic school-based setting near Waukegan, IL. We are seeking two passionate and dedicated professionals to fill key contract roles within an energetic educational environment: a .6 school-based Physical Therapist for the academic year, and a full-time Physical Therapist to cover an approximately 8-week maternity leave. Ideal candidates have a strong background in pediatric or school-based PT and are comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and school support teams to foster student success.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois Previous experience in a K-12 school setting (preferred) Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to organize and manage a flexible caseload Dedicated to fostering inclusion and supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and provide interventions for students requiring physical therapy Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with educators and allied professionals Maintain thorough and timely documentation Support students' motor development and access to the curriculum Communicate progress and strategies with staff and families Participate in team meetings and provide input on student plans
