Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a positive difference in students' lives through a rewarding contract position as a Physical Therapist in a school-based setting. Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Indiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience working with pediatric populations, especially in schools, is preferred Understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, teachers, and other support staff Proficiency in collecting data, maintaining documentation, and utilizing therapy equipment and techniques

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Assess student abilities and recommend interventions to promote motor skills, mobility, and access to the educational environment Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with school and state regulations Consult with school staff on accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to increase student success and independence Working in this role offers the unique opportunity to shape young lives, collaborate with dedicated professionals, and build meaningful relationships within the school community.
