This contract position offers the chance to work with students throughout the full school year, contributing expertise to empower them for academic and physical success. The role is scheduled for 2.5 to 3 days per week, providing work-life balance and allowing you to make a measurable difference in students' daily lives.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Hold a valid Physical Therapy (PT) license in Indiana Experience working in school-based settings preferred Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and interventions for school-aged children Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Innovative, flexible, and organized approach to caseload management
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Evaluate students' needs, document progress, and actively participate in IEP meetings Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to help students achieve mobility and motor goals Consult with teachers and staff to facilitate classroom modifications or adaptations Provide support, resources, and education to student families regarding progress and continued care
