Staffing Strategies is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a hospital-based therapy opportunity in Peru, Indiana . This position can accommodate either a part-time or full-time schedule and offers competitive compensation at $55 per hour . We're looking for a PT who enjoys working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team while helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance and overall functional independence.

Rehabilitation Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and physician orders Provide skilled treatment to improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence Assess and monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Provide gait, transfer and mobility training Educate patients, families and caregivers Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nursing, therapy and other members of the interdisciplinary team Assist with discharge planning and recommendations as appropriate

Qualifications:

Active Indiana Physical Therapist license Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Hospital, inpatient, outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred Strong clinical assessment, communication and documentation skills New graduates with appropriate clinical experience are welcome to apply
