RobertsPT is looking for a physical therapist who still loves being a PT, but may be ready for a better way to practice. If you've spent the last few years in outpatient physical therapy seeing 15+ patients a day , bouncing between treatment rooms, handing patients off to assistants or technicians, and wondering whether this is really what you signed up for... I've been there …and so this position may be worth reading about. At RobertsPT, we are a cash-based model of care so we dictate the terms for clients and for our PTs...not insurance companies. That means no double-booking. Time to think, educate, treat, and actually solve problems instead of constantly chasing the next visit. It's a win for the client for sure, but just as important YOU the PT . That's the kind of environment we've built at RobertsPT. Who We Are RobertsPT is more than a traditional outpatient physical therapy clinic, and it's more than a personal training gym. We've combined the best parts of orthopedic physical therapy with long-term strength training to create a better model of care for active adults and the PTs treating them. Our goal is to help people stay pain-free, strong, and independent for life... not just 4-6 weeks like the 'scripts' suggest. Golf is the front door for many of our clients, but every day we work with golfers, pickleball players, grandparents, and active retirees who want to keep doing the things they love without their bodies holding them back. Most physical therapy clinics discharge patients once they're out of pain. Our model allows us to keep going. Many of our clients transition from physical therapy into ongoing strength and performance training, where we continue helping them improve their strength, mobility, and confidence for the long term. We've worked with some clients for more than five years. The long term relationships we build with our clients are another big part of what makes RobertsPT different. What Your Day Actually Looks Like See approximately 6-8 clients instead of 15+ Provide one-on-one physical therapy without double-booking Treat orthopedic injuries with the time and freedom to decide what each client actually needs Use manual therapy and dry needling when appropriate Build individualized treatment from rehab into long-term strength training Give your hands a break from treating all day by supervising performance training Work with motivated clients who want to be here and want to get better Complete far less documentation than in a traditional insurance-based outpatient setting What You'll Learn You'll work directly alongside Jeremy and me while continuing to develop your skills in: Manual therapy Dry needling Strength and performance programming Golf biomechanics Clinical reasoning Communication Building long-term client relationships More Than Just a Staff PT Position RobertsPT is still growing, and that's part of the opportunity. You'll have a voice in client care, programming, systems, and the direction RobertsPT continues to go. As the business grows, we want the people who help build it to have opportunities to grow with it. That could mean increased clinical responsibility, leadership, mentorship, or other opportunities beyond simply remaining a staff physical therapist. Who We're Looking For Doctor of Physical Therapy with 3+ years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience Proficient in Dry Needling Someone who enjoys a mix of traditional orthopedic physical therapy and strength and performance training Someone who has experienced the traditional outpatient model firsthand and knows there has to be a better pace Someone who works hard and wants that effort to be recognized and rewarded Someone who would enjoy seeing a client beyond the normal 4-6 weeks of physical therapy and helping them transition into a long-term strength routine Someone who wants to keep growing clinically and professionally While golf is our front door, no golf ability or experience is required. Although with the number of golfers who walk through our doors, you should probably at least like the sport. :) One Last Thing We're trying to build a place where active adults can stay healthy for life...but just importantly build a place where physical therapists can actually enjoy practicing the profession they worked and studied so hard to get into. If you've spent the last few years thinking, "I still love physical therapy...I just don't love the way I'm being asked to practice it," this may be a really good fit. Apply through Indeed and we'll take it from there.
