9642148-66215 Job Description Step into a meaningful role making a real difference in students' lives by supporting a school community as a Physical Therapist for an 8-week contract. This opportunity involves providing vital FMLA coverage with full-time hours in an itinerant capacity, helping students reach their fullest potential through movement, mobility, and individualized care. Youll work across different sites, managing a diverse caseload of 39 students. Your expertise will help foster confidence, independence, and success in the academic environment for each student you serve.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Previous school-based experience preferred Comfortable working with pediatric populations and a variety of physical abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise with faculty, staff, and parents Ability to adapt therapy techniques to various settings and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement customized treatment plans geared toward students individual goals Address students physical needs so they can maximize participation in classroom activities Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and progress Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with school and state guidelines Travel between buildings as an itinerant PT to reach all assigned students What to
