Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a varied caseload and travel between multiple school sites as needed Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in school physical therapy

Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs) Assess and document students physical abilities, needs, and progress Develop and implement customized therapy interventions to support academic and functional mobility Collaborate with teachers, aides, parents, and other professionals to foster student engagement and achievement Contribute to IEP team meetings, providing expert recommendations and documentation Travel between different school sites, efficiently organizing your schedule to maximize service delivery Uphold compliance with state and federal regulations governing school physical therapy This eight-week contract offers the chance to bring your expertise to a welcoming school community while gaining valuable experience in an itinerant, school-based setting.
