: Please log into Workday Click Here to apply internally through the "Jobs Hub" Job Description Job Summary The Motion Analysis Center Physical Therapist at Shriners Hospitals for Children is responsible for providing specialized physical therapy services within our state-of-the-art motion analysis laboratory, focusing on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of children with complex musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. Key Responsibilities Meets regularly with MAC PTs within their region. Provides oversight of MAC PTs within their region to ensure proper clinical care, clinical documentation, maintenance of a full caseload and timeliness of documentation. Works with other System leaders to standardize clinical processes across the system. Ensures MAC PTs in their region obtains and maintains the clinical aspect of the Commission for Motion Laboratory Accreditation (CMLA) accreditation. Competent in SMACnet standards for the examination of the patient including history/systems review, selection and administration of specific tests and measures including but not limited to range of motion, manual muscle testing, outcome measures and neurological testing. Competent in basic collection of motion capture data, EMG, pedobarograph, video, report generation to ensure continuity of care if the coordinator or engineer is not available. Demonstrates proficiency in the interpreting all motion lab data including but not limited to kinematics, kinetics, EMG, pedobarograph, O2 consumption, and video analysis. Generates a concise and clearly written physical therapy evaluation summarizing and integrating the pertinent findings of the motion lab evaluation including the patient history, physical exam, spatial and temporal parameters, kinematics, kinetics, electromyography evaluations, foot pressure distribution analysis and other assessments. Required Qualifications Bachelor's in physical Therapy Licensed in state of practice Preferred Qualifcations 5 Years Motion analysis lab 5 Years Pediatric experience Masters Degree Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
