Due to continued service growth, Geneva Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated Community Physiotherapist to provide approximately 15-20 hours of rehabilitation services per week across the wider Auckland region. Who we are | Ko wai mātou At Geneva Wellbeing, we provide community-based rehabilitation services that support people recovering from injury or illness, or living with disability. Our interdisciplinary teams work closely with clients and their whānau/families, using a strengths-based, person-centred approach to support recovery, functional independence and meaningful outcomes. About the Role | He kōrero mō tēnei tūranga This is an ongoing, community-based contractor opportunity supporting clients throughout the wider Auckland region. The anticipated workload is approximately 15-20 hours per week, equivalent to around 0.4-0.5 FTE. Scheduling is flexible and will be arranged around referral demand and client needs. You will deliver assessment and rehabilitation services across relevant ACC contracts, with a particular focus on clients experiencing neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries and concussion. You will work independently within the community while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and other health professionals to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes for clients. This opportunity would suit an experienced Physiotherapist who values autonomy, flexibility and delivering high-quality rehabilitation within clients' homes and communities. Contractor percentage rates will be offered based on experience. What you will bring | Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand A current Annual Practising Certificate A minimum of two to three years' Physiotherapy experience Experience delivering services under ACC contracts Experience in community-based assessment and rehabilitation Clinical experience supporting clients with neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries or concussion would be highly advantageous Confidence working autonomously in community settings Strong clinical assessment, rehabilitation planning and report-writing skills Excellent time-management and organisational capability Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work collaboratively with clients, whānau, ACC and multidisciplinary health professionals A full, clean New Zealand Driver Licence Access to a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel throughout the wider Auckland region Key Responsibilities Deliver Physiotherapy assessments and rehabilitation services in clients' homes and community settings Support clients to achieve functional independence, rehabilitation and recovery goals Provide services across relevant ACC contracts Work with clients experiencing neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries and concussion Develop clinically informed and evidence-based rehabilitation plans Manage a varied community caseload independently Work collaboratively with clients, whānau, ACC and multidisciplinary professionals Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical documentation Complete clinical reports within required contractual timeframes Monitor client progress and adapt rehabilitation plans in response to changing needs Contribute to positive and sustainable outcomes for clients Why Us | He aha ai mātou?
