• 45 per hour, depending on experience Train Unique is looking for a Physical Therapist who wants to help build something from the ground up.

We specialize in adaptive fitness and serve individuals with intellectual, developmental, neurological, and physical disabilities. We are expanding our Baton Rouge operation and building a physical therapy program that combines skilled rehabilitation with the equipment, space, and philosophy of a true fitness facility. We are looking for a Lead Physical Therapist / Clinic Director who can become the clinical leader of that program. This is more than a staff PT position. You will have the opportunity to help design the clinic, establish systems, build the caseload, develop referral relationships, and ultimately help grow a larger PT/OT operation. Who you'll work with Our patient population may include: Autism and developmental disabilities Cerebral palsy Down syndrome Spinal cord injuries Traumatic brain injuries Neurological conditions Gait and balance impairments Mobility limitations Pediatric developmental conditions Adults with disabilities Adaptive athletes Our facility is being designed around movement. Rather than being limited to a traditional treatment room, you'll have access to a large functional training environment including turf, strength equipment, sleds, balance equipment, functional training tools, adaptive equipment, and potentially a dedicated sensory/youth space. What you'll do Help launch the Train Unique physical therapy program in Baton Rouge Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult PT patients Develop individualized plans of care Provide skilled therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, gait training, therapeutic activities, and other appropriate interventions Help establish clinical policies and documentation standards Work with our credentialing and billing partners during Louisiana Medicaid and Healthy Louisiana MCO enrollment Help create efficient patient scheduling and treatment workflows Participate in recruiting and supervising future PTs, PTAs, and support staff Build relationships with physicians, therapy practices, schools, disability organizations, and referral partners Collaborate with Train Unique's adaptive fitness team to create appropriate transitions from physical therapy into lifelong fitness and sports What we're looking for Current Louisiana Physical Therapist license, or ability to obtain one DPT or other qualifying PT degree Excellent clinical and documentation skills Comfortable treating individuals with developmental and physical disabilities Neuro, pediatric, developmental, adaptive, or outpatient experience strongly preferred Medicaid experience is a plus Previous clinical leadership is a plus Someone comfortable taking ownership and helping build a program rather than simply stepping into an established caseload We want someone who shares our belief that graduating from physical therapy should not mean graduating from movement.

Compensation We are looking to start hourly as we build our caseload, then transition to full time salaried positions. We are also open to building a performance incentive structure around growth of the therapy division.
