Job Description
A growing rehabilitation services provider is expanding its outpatient therapy team and is seeking licensed Physical Therapists to support multiple clinic locations throughout Louisiana. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and treatment services for patients in an outpatient setting. Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs based on patient needs, goals, and clinical findings. Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge documentation. Educate patients and family members regarding recovery strategies, exercise programs, injury prevention, and long-term wellness. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate to maximize outcomes. Participate in continuing education, mentorship programs, and specialty training opportunities to enhance clinical expertise. Work Environment Full-time outpatient schedule. Manage a patient caseload averaging approximately 11 visits per day. Streamlined hiring process with prompt communication and expedited decision-making. QualificationsRequired Current Physical Therapist licensure in Louisiana or eligibility to practice through applicable licensure reciprocity/compact agreements. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to delivering patient-focused, evidence-based care. Ability to successfully complete credentialing and background verification requirements. Preferred Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred; experienced therapists with a master's-level education will also be considered. Prior outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation experience is advantageous. Early-career professionals and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Therapists with inpatient rehabilitation or acute care backgrounds seeking an outpatient transition may also be considered.
