Job Description
Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity where your passion for pediatric physical therapy can make a real impact. This role is designed for those who are committed to supporting early childhood development within an educational setting. You'll be working onsite with a dedicated team, serving as an Early Interventionist for children ages 3 to 4 for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. With a manageable caseload, you'll have the ability to foster meaningful progress for each child while enjoying a flexible schedule that is typically less than four days per week.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid and active Physical Therapist license in Louisiana Experience or enthusiasm for working with preschool-aged children (3-4 years old) Prior experience in a school-based or early intervention setting is a significant plus Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skillsKey Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based, individualized physical therapy services to eligible students Develop and implement therapy plans in collaboration with early intervention teams Maintain thorough documentation of interventions, progress, and student outcomes Consult with educators and caregivers to support integration of therapy goals in daily activities Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Enjoy meaningful work that allows you to guide the growth and mobility of young learners while balancing your professional and personal life.
